Shenandoah Civil War Associates is an educational, non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the study of the Civil War.

Our headquarters in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is in the center of the Shenandoah Valley in close proximity to major Civil War battlefields.

The 2005 Civil War Institute will take place on the campus of James Madison University with the support of JMU’s Office of Events and Conferences. Our presenters and guides for our 2005 Institute are outstanding experts in their fields of study
